How fine is the sampling frequency?

#1

Hi List,
How fine is the sampling frequency of the USRP and the decimation
factor? How can I test it?

Thanks all,

Davide A.

The sampling frequency is determined by the master clock on the board.
The oscillators Matt ships on the boards are 64 MHz with a frequency
accuracy spec’d at 50 ppm.

The tuning resolution of the DDC is about 0.01 Hz. The tuning step
size of the RF front ends vary. IIRC the RFX boards are using 4 MHz
steps.

The valid decimation rates are even integers in [8, 256]
