How can I read my log in Windows?

Is there some way of reading development.log file while the app is
running, with every step, like in the Mac console?

I don’t know that software on Windows can do this work.

I never work with Rails on Windows but I think that you maybe can
install CygWin. This is a free software which can simulate a
Unix/Linux System inside a Windows System. I am not sure how you can
read a local file from this enviroment but I think it can go well with
a bit of work

Exist some tools called unixtool: http://unxutils.sourceforge.net/

You can use tail in windows with those tools.
