Host Upgrade

Man:

My Lenovo T60 just doesn’t seem up to the task of supporting GNURadio
and a USRP2, especially in the higher frequency bands…above 1.5GHz.

Any pointers on specific characteristics I’d look for in the ‘idea’
GNURadio host…put some bounds on my product search.

My T60 handles it just fine. And frequency band shouldn’t make any
difference. Why do you think higher frequency bands affect processor
loading?

The key factor is instantaneous bandwidth. What bandwidth are you
using? And do you have your machine set up for real time scheduling?
