Hide SCGI's password on command line?

When scgi asks for my password, it displays it in clear text. Is there a
way to make it hide it
(like typical logins do)?

scgi_ctrl restart
Password: 12345

Not sure but at least in Switchtower that works by installing the
termios gem.
