[ help ] Ruby WM with C ext

Hello, thank you for reading my post. My question is, how do I go about
creating a C extension with Ruby? The reason I ask is because I recently
found a window manager source code,
http://paste.lisp.org/display/47144/raw, but I could not figure out how
to get it set up and installed.

I read around, and all I could find out was that I needed to create
several files called extconf.rb & .c. Then run the extconf.rb and
build the extension with make. But I am still confused, do I need to
actually make some sort of plugin with the .c in order to have it
run the primary ruby source?

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

Sorry, this has just been solved by some one.
