GoDaddy doesn't run RoR apps

So I have been at this for well over two weeks now - getting my
application to run with my GoDaddy account and I have come to the
conclusion that Rails applications will not run on Godaddy accounts, in
short all rails developers should steer clear of GoDaddy and get their
services through another provider. Having said that, I would still like
to get my app up and running and was just wondering if there are any
good providers out there that have easy to use directions on how to use
rails apps and how to configure them, but also provide helpful customer
service in the event that things do go wrong? Basically a provider that
knows what the rails framework is and how to use and configure it,
unlike GoDaddy help who wrote back to me in a email and said if this was
something that I had installed myself then they could not support it,
even though it was something that I specifaclly sign-up for because it
was a service that they “provided.” Any way, I would just like to get
rolling with my app, thanks,

As a hosting service I’ve had no problems with A Small Orange. They
offer rails, but I haven’t yet used it.
It wouldn’t cost you much to find out - $25 for one year.

If you do, please report back on how it went, as I’ll be eventually
converting one of my sites there to rails.
