Gnuradio 3.3.0 build error: sh: latex: not found

Hi all,

I fail to complete building gnuradio 3.3.0 (either latest git or stable
tarball) due to the following error:

/bin/mkdir -p html
/bin/mkdir -p xml
/usr/bin/doxygen
sh: latex: not found
Problems running latex. Check your installation or look for typos in
_formulas.tex and check _formulas.log!
dvips: DVI file can’t be opened: _formulas.dvi: No such file or
directory
Problems running dvips. Check your installation!

I reinstall the latest version of doxygen but still fail to work.

What kind of problem I get?

I highly appreciate your help!

  • You can still use GR, you just don’t have the docs
  • The error is very descriptive: install latex (on my system, the
    package is called texlive-latex-recommended)

I have installed latex via apt-get install texlive-latex-core and the
builder
runs smoothly. Thank guy!
