Well, things are close, that’s for sure.
I compiled and installed the USRP1 support, after grabbing the
appropriate version of SDCC, and manually
installing an asx8051.
The dial_tone.py example works just fine, but audio_to_file.py hangs
for about 20 seconds then bails with an
error from within alsa:
audio_alsa_source[hw:0,0]: snd_pcm_readi failed: Input/output error
Also, arecord (the alsa generic recording thingy) doesn’t record
anything from my Logitech headset, although
all the alsamixer controls appear to function correctly.
USB audio output from the Sheeva (at least to the Logitech headset)
appears to work.
I hate being a groundbreaker on stuff like this
