GNU Radio comes pre-installed on the latest version of Kali Linux:

I’m not able to vouch for this on a personal basis. I need a simple
minded
tutorial to take me through Gnu Radio Companion on a step by step basis.

nice to see that someone ships GNU Radio as part of their standard
setup.

Regarding to your GRC problems: you might want to refer to the official

and especially to the “IV. Using GNU Radio” section.
