Are there other people here who use gmane.org to read this list? Has
anyone noticed that between today around 7AM to 5PM CET no messages
appeared, and since then there are replies to here non-existent threads?

If gmane wraps the Usenet group comp.lang.ruby, that may have been
caused by my failed gateway upgrade. I apologize for the trouble I
caused.

No, it seems to track the mailing list itself - I guess most of gmane
works that way, as opposed to mirror standard usenet groups.
The missing messages started to appear though, and now it seems to have
finished publishing the posts from the missed period.
