GIO bindings ready?

Hi,

Nikolai, what is your GIO bindings status?
If it is ready, you can commit it into the Ruby-GNOME2
repository.

Thanks,

kou

Hi!

Really sorry for the delay. Instead of boring you with the details as
to why I haven’t committed it yet, I’ll report that I’ll try hard to
commit it to the repository next week.

Subversion (juck) is transmitting the changes now! It ended up as
revision 3690. I added gio to the top-level extconf.rb. I hope
that’s fine. There’s a TODO and the commit message mentions that this
work is based on 2.20.0. There hasn’t been that many changes to gio
since then, but some work is still needed. I’ll get to it later, but
I really needed to get this of my shoulders.

I really think that the GIO stuff is awesome and that the bindings are
quite good.

I forgot to update AUTHORS, but I guess that can wait :-).
