German RoR Host

Hi,

i plan to deploy my first site based on ruby on rails. That’s why i am
looking for a german host with good support for RoR. I have read a lot
about
hosts like dreamhost or site5, but never any recommendation for a german
host. Can somebody point me to appropriate hosts?

I have no experience with german hosts, but I just signed up to
DreamHost and I absolutely fell in love with them! Their control panel
is absolutely great for people who don’t know (and care) much about the
in-depths of server configuration, and everything works with a few
clicks. :slight_smile:

I don’t recommend you to use HostMonster, though, I signed up for a year
and didn’t receive any reply to my support questions since about 4 or 5
days. Absolutely inacceptable. DreamHost responds quite fast.

Search for DreamHost Coupon to save a lot of money, too! I saved 50$
when signing up using ZEROSETUP! :slight_smile:

Your experience matches with those i read about DreamHost in this
mailing list. Well, i should get in touch how i can arrange to use a
non german host for my site. Seems like there is not a choice.
