BuildPay is hiring a senior full-stack web developer to start work immediately. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing software for our construction payment web app, as well as integrating outside services with our API. www.gobuildpay.com
Key qualifications:

4-year college degree (computer science, computer systems engineering) or equivalent experience

General: auto deployment (Ansible), cloud (AWS & DigitalOcean), server ops (Ubuntu & Linux), Nginx web server

Web-side: single-page app’s, Angular, Protractor, Karma, Jasmine, TypeScript

API-side: Rspec, Ruby, Ruby on Rails, JSON & RESTful API development, PostgreSQL

Continuous integration: Codeship (for test suite) and Capistrano (for deployment)

Other: application scaling experience, agile development mindset, excellent communication skills

Adaptable to customer priority changes and quick turnaround times
Key job responsibilities:

Develop code to continuously improve the BuildPay construction payment web app

Support integration of API with outside services (such as payment and web development)

Support all phases of software development life cycle

Assist with training and development of less experienced software developers

Documentation of software and development processes

Develop and maintain best security practices
Required work location is BuildPay headquarters in the RPI Technology Park (Troy, NY)
