i am new in ROR and trying to learn. could you please suggest which

be my first application in ROR(my first learning step) including which
version of ROR is good for makets in job?

Please follow Michael H.'s Railstutorial, there is an html version
for
free at railstutorial.org
It’s pretty solid and contains everything you need to get started at RoR
developing, also I advise trying some Ruby books, if you are new to Ruby
aswell.
Further doubts you may have, we here at the group are always please to
