Finer access control on page administration

I am currently planning/brainstorming ways to run an entire army of
websites from one radiant install. Each website has its own content
admin, etc. There are several extensions that allow this to be done.
However, none of them seem to provide a great way to lock pages or allow
users to edit only the pages they created.

Would I have to hardcode this kind of granular page/user access or is
their something roaming around out there already?

Thanks.

I am in the planning stages of an extension which will add users,
groups and the ability to add ACL’s to pages.

I don’t have anything good enough to post yet - but I am planning on
tossing a few hours it’s direction today.

Fabulous, I’d be interested to see how you implement it. I’ve been
thinking about putting my ruby hat on and working it out myself. But
time is short for me these days. Can’t hackfest it as much I use to.
