You can perform an Active Record find() from a helper. I use it to find
content for pages, like a cms. Mostly one but sometimes for two or three
areas in the page view so it’s very basic. In this way I make it very
simple and I don’t need a method in the controller.
Any problems, disadvantages or security issues with that?
