Example of tk drop down menu needed

I want to have a drop down whereby when I click on it, I get a number of
choices and I select one and act on it. Any examples of tk code in ruby
would be very helpful.

See the sample scripts (especially, tkcombobox.rb)
included in a source tree of Ruby (ext/tk/sample/).
