When installing visualruby using the following command:
gem install visualruby
I received the following output with an error at the end, any help in
resolving the issue would be greatly appreciated, thanks:

Hello Sam,
This looks like an connection error, when trying to download
gdk_pixbuf2-1.2.3-x86-mingw32.gem from production.cf.rubygems.org , you
may
want to try and run the gem install command again at a later point, as
it
may be simple maintenance, or ISP issues, that will be resolved.

I tried to reinstall the visualruby gem and my Avast Antivirus stopped
it and said that the following file:
http://production.cf.rubygems.org/gems/gdk_pixbuf2-1.2.3-x86-mingw32.gem|data.tar.gz|data.tar|vendor\local\bin\gdk-pixbuf-pixdata.exe
is infected with the Win32:Malware-gen virus. Can you please scan the
file for viruses and then let me know when I can reinstall it?
Thanks,
Sam
