Edge Rails - Do I need to remove the sessions table?

I just upgraded to rails 1.2.5 so if I’m correct, it uses cookie based
session storage. So after placing this in my config/enviroment:

config.action_controller.session = {
:session_key => ‘_myapp_session’,
:secret => ‘getyourownsecretkey’
}

Do I comment this line out? config.action_controller.session_store
= :active_record_store

Also, do I remove the sessions table in my database?

It uses it by default. You can change the defaults to use whatever you
want. If you want to continue using active_record_store, you can.

I want to use the new cookie session store. So is it safe to drop the
sessions table in my database?

Yes.
