Hola, me acaba de llegar un correo diciendo que mi aplicación de rails
ocupa
mucha memoria y me esta aconsejando mudarme a un host dedicado, y me
dicen
que esa es la razón por la cual mis aplicaciones no se inician
apropiadamente, en fin quisiera saber si alguno me puede recomendar otro
host y de que manera puedo pedir el reintegro de los 3 años que me
quedan,
es decir esta pagado hasta el 2011

  1. Si has traspasado la barrera de los 97 dias … no puedes pedir el
    refund.

  2. Puedes mirar que es lo que está haciendo que tu aplicación ocupe
    tanta memoria. Exactamente que te han dicho?

  3. Te recomiendo Slicehost, pero no es un “hosting” es un VPS, es
    decir, te has de montar la maquina tu. Sino puedes ir a
    RailsPlayground.com.

Si no vas a obtener el refund podrías utilizar el servidor de
Dreamhost como servidor de assets (contenido no dinámico), ya que para
tareas como servir muchos archivos de tamaño considerable Dreamhost
sigue siendo una buena
opción.

y me sale el error 500 donde me dice que la aplicación no se puede
iniciar
adecuadamente, también mi blog y todo a raíz del upgrade

pero lo extraño es que el trafico del sitio solo tiene una visita o sea
yo,
el problema que me da es con el foro beast, por que dorado realmente no
me
corre, en cuanto a slihost ya pedi un año con ellos pero me toca esperar
como tres semanas o algo asi, en cuanto a este tengo un monton de dudas
pero
espero aclararlas una vez tenga el invoice y el host pago.

Baje la aplicación, la probe en mi imac y todo marcha perfecto, hasta en
windows pero no logro hacer que corra en dreamhost
