Here’s an interesting paper on reducing 3rd and 5th order IMD products,
using digital pre-distortion.
Which is a topic I’ve known about for years in optical systems, but
I’d never thought about in RF
systems.

Basic idea is to use a LUT to provide the inverse function of the
non-linear gain curve of your
gain chain. Similar idea for phase rotations for non-linear phase
effects.
