I would like to download the Rails manual featured at
http://railsmanual.org/list/methods/rails/2.0.1
If your advice is in fact to use wget, please provide the exact
command I need to issue; however, ideally I would prefer a searchable
pdf file.
Please advise.
Hey Paul, I’ve come across some downloadable PDF’s out there for Rails
2.xbut don’t have any of the links bookmarked as I prefer the
railsmanual site
over a PDF file. If you find any worth mentioning please do let me know
and
I’ll link to it from the site.
Nathaniel.

You could just generate the docs locally (rake doc:rails)
Fred
Also I think “gem server” operates in the same way.
