Down with Spam

If you’ve been browsing the Trac site today you may have noticed that
we’ve installed a few plugins to make it more difficult for people to
create ticket spam.

You are now required to register in order to submit tickets. You can
still browse the site without logging in, but if you create or change a
ticket you will need to be logged in.

Hopefully, this will mean an end to the spam and I can spend the time
doing more productive things like developing Radiant.

We’ve left the wiki open to the public at this point. I hope it can stay
that way. To date, the wiki spam has been relatively minimal. It seems
that most trac spammers are focused on tickets. Not sure why, but if the
situation changes we will need to require a login for the wiki, too.

Props to Nathaniel T. who installed the plugins and got it all
working.
