Just read Peter C.s Beginning Ruby, want to make programs that
communicate with other programs now.
First, thanks for taking time to read. I did some simple stuff like
create simple dungeon games with help of book but now I want to get into
creating programs that can take input from other programs, specifically.
For example I work with 3D modeling as a hobby and the software I use,
PhotoScanPro, gives models descriptions like size, shape, number of
polygons.
One thing I am interested in is I want to create a program that with the
few clicks of a button will gather info from a model from PhotoScanPro
and send that info in an email to others. Any help much appreciated.
