Different separator for acts_as_taggable?

Hi, I am using the acts_as_taggable plugin. I don’t find a way to
specify a
different separator. But some of the blogs I come across mentions
“separator” (think this is the gem version)

How do I use a different separator with the plugin? Do I have to hack
the
“parse” method in Tag.rb?
