Date of birth pulldowns?

I’m trying to store the birth date of individuals. Is there an easy way
to allow the user to input their date of birth using pulldowns? I could
create them myself, but I was wondering if RoR had a method of doing
this imbedded in it. I’ve seen the “Cookbook” example application on
OnLamp, but the scaffolding generates those pulldowns. I pretty much
want to do the same thing. If anyone could point me to a site with the
information, I’d greatly appreciate it. I’ve been searching for a while
and couldn’t find anything.

I think you’re looking for date_select:

ActionView::Helpers::DateHelper

Thanks a lot! That’s exactly what I was looking for. I knew it had to
be some helper tag like that, but I just couldn’t figure out the exact
wording. Thank you so much.
