Buenos dias a todos, quisiera saber si existe algun metodo que comprima
el
contenido html en rails con montgrel y nginx, en php y apache existia un
modulo deflate en ror no se cual pueda ser y la sintaxis del modelo

No se exactamente como funciona el deflate de PHP, pero en Nginx
puedes comprimir cierto contenido con gzip a la hora de enviarlo, es
más o menos
así:
gzip on;
gzip_comp_level 2;
gzip_types text/plain text/html text/css application/x-javascript
text/xml application/xml;

Puedes mirar más info en el wiki de Nginx si esto es lo que buscas.
