I am a 17 yr veteran of high end databases and applications (Oracle
Database and ERP 10.6 to 11i) and have worked with nearly every other
technology under the Sun. I work freelance as a Sr. Program Manager
and consult on large Oracle projects.
In 2000 I had written an ERP application using Linux, Java, Beans,
Postgresql. The name is Erptool. You can check it out here

I am now seriously thinking about writing version 2.0 using Ruby on
Rails and looking for like minded individuals who would like to
contribute in a commercial application.
Even though the application will be build using Ruby on Rails, I will
NOT be released under GPL. It will be a commercial application and
will be sold FOR PROFIT. Everyone who contributes will get a fair
share.
