Columns in HTML emails?

Hi:

I’m including a simple table in my html email - but the columns aren’t
working on delivery. Does anyone know why this might be the case or have
suggestions?

Here’s the email:

<%= stylesheet_link_tag ‘standard’ %>

<%= render(:partial => '../goalbuddies/gbdisplay', :locals => { :gb => @user, :sty => 'white', :act => '', :from => 'mail' } ) %> Hello!

I did it! My goal, <%= @goal.title %>, was accomplished on <%= @compdate %>. Please take a look at my victory and feel free to post a message or send a high-five my way!

View <%= link_to @user.name + "'s victory", "www.goalhub.com/my_friend_view/" + @user.id.to_s %>

Thanks, <%= @user.name %>

Thanks!

Mike

off the top of the head

  • the

    tag in the table breaks it

  • the css in ‘standard’ breaks the table?
  • no tags
  • the email isn’t sent as html format?
