little, too late, given what is already underway.

Some of us here have thin skins, and will start crying if called names
or if doubt is cast on our abilities.

More significatly, it degrades the discussion and ends up being
counter-productive.

I couldn’t agree more with this sentiment. One of ruby’s greatest
strengths, in my humble opinion, is its user/developer community.
Please do try to be respectful of one another, it’s simple common
courtesy really.

As James points out, this sort of thing is–at best–a disruption and
off topic.
