CIS NGINX Security Benchmark help

Hello,
The Center for Internet Security is looking for some folks to help in
the creation of a security benchmark for NGINX. We have a wide range of
benchmark guides that are created by the cyber security community and we
offer them free to the world. All of our benchmarks are created from a
consensus team comprised of subject matter experts, vendors, CIS
members, and folks that just want to help out. If anyone is interested
in helping out here is a link to our project page
https://benchmarks.cisecurity.org/community/projects/index.cfm#123. We
list all contributors/editors/authors inside the benchmark as well, we
can even submit for CPE credits on your behalf. Please let me know if
you have any additional questions or if you are willing to help.

Thank you for your time

Are you paying people for their time?

Phil,
We prefer that our contributors and editors are volunteers. Our guides
have always been publicly available and we have recently started
converting their licensing to Creative Commons, which allows for
derivative works under certain circumstances. Also, each published guide
explicitly acknowledges its contributors and we broadcast its
availability over social media and other channels. In addition we submit
CPE credits on the volunteers behalf. We have also reached out to NGINX
directly on this to have them review the created guidance once completed
to provide input.

If you have any specific questions about volunteer or other
opportunities, feel free to contact me directly.
