Bundler? or RVM issue? can you help?

If you take a look at this error trace (short):
https://gist.github.com/1102016

you can see that the trace jumps from the rvm ruby into the system ruby.
That can’t be right, surely? Can you suggest how I might resolve this?
I’m out of ideas.
