Bring values from database

Hi,

i am very new to ROR, and hoping to convert my organizations web-site
which is in .php format to a radiant cms on the local machine, and
managed to get it work for static contents, but the problem is… on a
particular webpage we bring certain values from the database
dynamically, whereas in radiant each and every content is from the
radiant_dev database, is there a possibility of adding another database
or the table to the existing structure of the radiant_dev database and
bring the dynamic value to a web page or is there any other solution to
bring data dynamically. thanks in advance.

That kind of issue is the thing that the “mental” branch, and evenutally
release 0.6, attempts to solve. In my day job I’m currently working on
a
bunch of “extensions” for Radiant to use on the college website.
However,
our release date is looming and not all of the legacy Perl and PHP forms
