BER plots for various modulation schemes

hello everybody,
I wanted to test the USRP performance for various modulation
schemes by varying the power level of transmitted signal and plotting
the
BER. Can i use one of the existing gnuradio-examples/python/ programs to
do
this? How to check the power level of the transmitted signal?
