Automatic emails

Hi folks,

My application needs to send scheduled emails to customers.

is this possible with ruby on rails, if yes can anybody advice me to
start from correct source please. How to use “cron” plug-in for this and
how to download it.

e.g., mail should be sent on June 1st 2007 10:00:00.
