Auto_link

Hi,
In my application I want to use auto_link for showing link throughout
the site.
but it couldn’t work with truncate and word_wrap.also how to open that
link in new tab.
Currently I am using rails 1.2… any solution for this problem?

First, this is a Spanish speaking Rails group, so you are supposed to
write in Spanish. You should post at
http://www.ruby-forum.com/forum/3 if you want to use English and get
your questions answered in English.

About the question of auto_link opening links in a new tab you can use
something like this:

auto_link(your_text, :all, :target => ‘_blank’)

That should open your page in a new window, but most of the modern
browsers open a new tab instead. Of course all the documentation for
Rails is already written, so it’s better to look there before asking
this type of questions:
http://rails-doc.org/rails/v1.2.0/ActionView/Helpers/TextHelper/auto_link

I don’t really understand your first question, so I recommend you ask
it in the other group I’ve linked above.

Cheers.

Oops, I missed the original message, my bad. Anyway, Sunny, what Daniel
