Authorization plugin for rails 3?

Hi,
I would like to know whether the authorization plugins available e.g.
“Declarative Authorization” or “Authorization with CanCan”, etc,… can
be used under rails 3 ? I ask because the installation instructions are
for rails 2.2 ? (no gemfile, no bundle …)
