What do your company gets:
Meetup created for RSVP and tracking; group moderated so ONLY
software engineers (Ruby and JAVA Folks who want to learn Ruby) will
ONLY be able to attend
MeetUP list will be confidential and ONLY public to corporate
sponsors and associates administrating with this MeetUp.
Host Beer/Wine service for 3 hours (6:30 9:30 PM); non-hosted
liquor bar available at the main bar for only $5.00 each.
Access to resume database and a list of business cards collected at
the event
Rankmind will be hosting a Ruby-on-Rails puzzle/contest this will
be a Ruby-on-Rails puzzle that will be released 2 weeks prior to the
event. Participants MUST be present to win (because we expect them to
get on stage an explain what they did to solve the puzzle.)
Rankmind has a cheat indicator tool and the MeetUp group will be
moderated so the contest rules and integrity should be kept at a
very high standard.
All corporate sponsors will receive the reports generated by
Rankmind regarding participants response, average time, general
results, etc.
There will be a high-definition, overhead projector that will
include a graphic display of corporate sponsor logos as well as a
1-2 minute video introduction of the company/products before the
corporate sponsors speaker/representative is introduced.
There will be an artist or two premiering their artwork at the event
It will be suggested that qualified software engineers make this a
date night and bring along a significant other (put on a special
front-door list must email Danny! And get on the Danny List prior
to the event.)
Will do a Costco Run hopefully will have some candy, chips, and
munchies around for folks in some bowls
Flowers in the Restrooms and entry table
Work displayed and artist present to discuss their work
Prizes for Ruby-on-Rails Puzzle/Contest:
o First Prize: $1,000.00
o Second Prize: $ 500.00
o Third Prize: $ 250.00
Winner will explain how the puzzle was solved; sponsors will have
opportunity to take photograph with winner (and possibly a big
check !)
Corporate sponsors will also get the opportunity for give-aways, t-
shirt handouts, etc.
Corporate sponsors can set up a 6 foot table in the main entrance
hall for recruiting purposes, resume collection, marketing material
hand-out, etc.
We might be able to work out a quiet area for possible interview
booth (something like that.)

We will also co-broadcast via Ruby-on-Rails groups in the North,
East and South Bay Areas.
I NEED confirmation of your corporate sponsorship in this event by
WEDNESDAY. Checks need to be in the mail and received no later than
April 13th.
If all goes well the Ruby-on-Rails Puzzle will be released on April
14th
In order to have the puzzle released and reserve the space we NEED
your commitment by THIS WEDNESDAY.
