Is anyone using JRuby with TextMate without problems? I run into
trouble when I try to run ruby from TextMate using cmd+r. I’ve come
across various posts that refer to setting the TM_RUBY environment
variable and modifying ~/.MacOSX/environment.properties, but I’ve
been unsuccessful getting anything working. Right now if I create a
simple test.rb with:
puts “hello”
and attempt to run it from within TextMate, I get
Exception in thread “main” java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Requested
array size exceeds VM limit
I’ve tried using the JRUBY_OPTS and even a wrapper script to increase
the heapsize with no luck. This is with the Jruby trunk as of last
Friday. Anyway, I’m just curious to know if anyone else has this up
and running.
