I recently read the little demo of Zed S. concerning Rails + XUL @

The interfaces you can do with XUL are pretty nice…but the amount of
javascript required is a bit annoying…and not very clean.
I was wondering if anyone out there saw / created / is working on a
plugin to do Rails + XUL?
Would be pretty neat I think the interfaces you get create are just
like a full-blown desktop app (some guys created an XUL interface to
browse books on amazon…unfortunatley it seems to be down for now,
but it was pretty nice).
P.S. And before you ask I don’t have the time…(but mostly)…or the
skills to do this myself.
