Another noob question

I upgraded my Rails version from 1.1.6 to 1.2.3.
How can I upgrade my app? Only editing the source?

The changelog will help you find the big issues.

rake rails:update will update configs, scripts and javascript.

But to ease your sleep at night, run your tests.
