I’m not sure why, but my previous release message of “sensible-cinema”
(currently a gem designed to run on jruby) was lost.

This gem allows you to “bleep out” scenes of movies as you watch them
on players like hulu and VLC. Similar to how edited “made for airplane”
movies skip scenes, it does, for arbitrary players. Interested
developers welcome (ex: a linux port would be kind–windows only
currently, sorry).
Also much thanks to the jruby and win32screenshot guyz, who made
developing this a pleasure. Jruby took care of concurrency and made the
UI easy and portable.
