[ANN] pre-alpha Rails Admin Console

Hey all,

I have released some pre-alpha code for my Administrative Console which
I’ve been talking about for the past few days.

The admin console, autoDB, provides and AJAXed, automated
scaffolding-type system that’s pretty and very customizable.

More details at http://trac.visualjquery.com/admin_console/ and my
original post from last week, which has screenshots and some more
details, is at http://www.yehudakatz.com/admin-console. That site is a
bit outdated, but you can get a sense of what the project is about.

Interested folks should definitely take a look. That said, it’s very
much pre-alpha code with a lot of unimplemented stuff (like validations)
and poor documentation.

I intend to release 0.1a over the weekend, with implemented validations
and much better documentations. Even that revision, though, will be very
rough around the edges (but I’ll probably be able to call it, at least,
an alpha version).

I look forward to your feedback,

Yehuda K.

Link doesn’t work, too.

Yes, we’re getting the following error when trying either of those
links:

*Application error (Apache)
*Change this error message for exceptions thrown outside of an action
(like in Dispatcher setups or broken Ruby code) in public/500.html

Hope that helps,
Ed C.
