With the launch of our new website (http://www.mindmatters.de/) - based,
of course, on Radiant - we’re also releasing the first version of a
small plugin that provides simple page visits statistics for every
Radiant page and visualizes these data as sparklines (for more on
sparklines, see
Edward Tufte forum: Sparkline theory and practice Edward Tufte).
The plugin is available here:
http://www.mindmatters.de/downloads/page_visits_behavior.zip - we’ll
provide SVN access as soon as we find the time to do so. In the meantime
- download, read the included Readme, feel free to ask questions and
provide feedback, and enjoy!
The plugin is mainly a re-utilisation of code done by other authors, so
our thanks go out to Geoffrey Grosenbach, Thomas F. and Jan Wikholm!
Cheers,
Wolfgang
Nice site, Wolfgang.
I’m also glad to see you’re using my Commentable behavior. Keep up the
good
work!

Thanks, Sean!
Your Commentable behavior is, as you can see, one of the major building
blocks of our website - thanks for providing some weblog functionality
before it will find its way into Radiant core!
I’m also glad to see that the “prefix your plugin directories” solution
to the global tags problem found its way into the how-tos - it will
surely save a lot of people’s time. Nevertheless, I would like to see
some generic and - above all - more elegant solution to it, so I will
keep looking into the PageContext solution suggested by John.
Stay tuned for updates of the page visits/sparklines plugin!
Wolfgang
Hi Sascha,
thanks! We didn’t do l10n or i18n, but simply used German texts. We will
add English later on, and then these topics will surely generate some
interesting questions and answers here…
Cheers,
Wolfgang
Hi Wolfgang,
very well done. Please tell us how you did localization.
