Hello,
the first release of my own GUI gem for desktop based GUI development
is available at
http://github.com/rogergl/input_form.
I used it to migrate an old Delphi application to the JRuby plattform
wich worked out extremly nice, The whole is still a work in progress
but I think that it may be useful for the remaining one ore two
people that still do non web based application development
