[ANN] London Ruby User Group - 08th October, 2007

Hi all,

The next London Ruby U. Group meeting is on this coming Monday:

Date: October 10th
Time: 6:30pm onwards
Location: the Skills Matter offices at 1 Sekeford Street, EC1R 0BEL[1]
Closest tube: Farringdon

Agenda:

  1. resources_controller - Ian W. will talk about his rails plugin
    that
makes writing RESTful controllers a breeze.
  2. Netbeans for ruby develoeprs - DJ Walker-Morgan gives a demo of the
latest ruby development tools in the Netbeans IDE.

Once the talks and questions have wrapped up, we move on to The Crown
Tavern[2] to ease our troubles over a drink or two.

The LRUG site[3] has more details if you want them. If you are planning
to
come, please registering[4] with our hosts Skills Matter so they can
arrange
the room properly.

Cheers,

Murray

ps. As a special treat for those of you who have read to the end of
this,
there’s an LRUG Nights[5] this evening from 6:30 onwards in The
George[6]
pub near London Bridge / Borough tube stations.
