Alternatives to Typo

Are there any Rails alternatives to Typo? I have been working on it for
the
past couple months with very little success. I’m not doing anything
crazy,
but it keep crashing, has slow response times, the administrative pages
constantly throw errors in the logs. I’m pretty fed up. Any
suggestions?
