Adding new a new font

I was wondering if anyone knows where to add a new font with a
TrueType Font File. Is there a specific file for extra fonts?

What operating system?

Also, what are you trying to accomplish? Unless you are using fonts
to dynamically generate images or something, adding fonts to your
server won’t help… fonts are controlled by the user’s browser, not
the application.

yeah if you’re doing web design you’re stuck with web safe fonts
