Add blog engine to rails app

Is there a way to add a blog engine to a rails application? The TYPO
product seems all to much of a rolled up app, instead of a nice
“add-on”. I have searched around but could not find anything too
useful.

Does anyone know of a product that does this ?

There is no ‘blog engine’ that I’m aware of, but it wouldn’t be too
hard to create a basic one from scratch… it depends how
sophisticated you wanted your blog to be. The short answer is that it
doesn’t exist yet because nobody has written it.
