I have no idea where to ask this so, as Matz posts here, I will ask
here. I apologize for any inconvenience.

I just saw Black Lagoon and the director of photography is Yukihiro
Matsumoto. Could that, by any chance, be you?

I don’t think so. Both Yukihiro and Matsumoto are common names among
Japanese.

I’ve just googled. The directory of photography of the Anime: Black
Lagoon is “Yukihiro Masumoto” (e$BA}85e(B e$BM35*Bge(B). Note that he
has one
less “t” in his family name.

Hey, I can sympathize with Matz here. I also sometimes suspect that

There do seem to be quite a few Matsumoto’s in the movie/tv industry

Matsumoto really is a very very common family name in Japan. Every
office has at least one!
Yukihiro is a fairly common given name too.
